FSA Regulation

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) is the independent watchdog that regulates financial services and, with effect from 1st July 2009, they now regulate sale and rent back activities.

Industry sources estimate that, in the middle of 2008, there were around 1,000 companies and individuals providing a sale and rent back service.  Approximately 50 of these were believed to be medium sized companies like ourselves.   By end of September 2009 there were 44 companies permitted by the FSA to buy properties under the regulations.
